Bob Chanda has been seen on the Lubbock stage over the last few years in such roles as MacDuff in Macbeth, Belize in Angels in America: Perestroika , Atticus Finch in To Kill Mockingbird, Gabe in Dinner with Friends, Austin in True West and most recently as Nick in The Guys. He has also directed such plays as Doubt and 'Night Mother.

Hub Theatre Group, a nonprofit theatre, is an avenue for Bob and his wife Paula Chanda to make a cultural contribution to the community they choose to call home. Both Bob and Paula are excited about the success of their adult productions and the wonderful reception to their children’s productions (Annie Jr., Gooney Bird Greene,Willy Wonka Jr. and High School Musical) co-produced by Hub Theatre Group and Hub Performing Arts School. They invite you to come and support their future efforts and enjoy some great theatre!
